Founded in 2015 in the heart of Vresse-sur-Semois, the Art Interpretation Center is a unique place dedicated to regional artistic creation. Housed in the former Maison Bourgeois (1875), this cultural center hosts an exceptional collection of paintings by famous artists from the Ardennes, including the renowned Albert Raty.

Albert Raty (1890-1968) is considered one of the greatest Ardennes painters of the 20th century. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, he developed a unique style blending impressionism and expressionism, with a fondness for the landscapes of the Semois and Lesse valleys. The Art Center holds the most important public collection of his works, some of which have never been exhibited before. His characteristic technique plays with the Ardennes light and creates atmospheres that are both realistic and poetic.
