The festival takes place every year in June, usually during the second weekend of the month. The 2026 edition is scheduled from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14.
Do I need to be an expert kayaker to join?
Not at all! The festival celebrates water fun for everyone. We offer routes from 7 km (perfect for beginners and young children) up to 23 km for seasoned paddlers. Safety is guaranteed at all times.
Is it family-friendly and safe for kids?
Yes, it is highly family-oriented. The calm waters of the Semois, mandatory life jackets, and a wide array of kids' entertainment make it perfectly safe and incredibly fun for children aged 5 and up.
Is kayaking equipment provided?
Yes. When you book via our partner Kayak Semois Ardenne, your kayak (single or double), ergonomic paddles, approved life jackets, and a waterproof container are fully included in the price.
Where can I stay during the festival weekend?
You can camp right by the water at Camping Ben-Gneur, or book from the many cozy holiday homes, guesthouses, and hotels in the nearby villages of Alle and Poupehan. We strongly recommend booking several months in advance.
