Jambon de la Semois Viewpoint

The Jambon de la Semois Viewpoint is one of the most emblematic panoramas of the Semois valley, located between the villages of Membre and Bohan. This spectacular site owes its name to the characteristic shape of the river meander, which evokes the silhouette of a ham.

The view extends over a 2 km loop of the Semois river, surrounded by wooded hills that offer a striking contrast between the turquoise waters and the lush vegetation. In 2025, a discreet but elegant Corten steel platform was arranged to allow visitors to fully enjoy the panorama while preserving the natural environment.

Main features:

  • Altitude: 220 meters
  • Wide meander of 2 km in length
  • New observation platform (2025)
  • Accessible via walk n°18
