If you do not accept these conditions, we invite you not to use our online services and to contact us directly by phone.

3 Description of Services

The kayaksemois-ardenne.be website notably offers:

• The presentation and online booking of kayak and canoe rentals on the Semois river
• Tourist information about the Semois valley and the Belgian Ardennes
• Hydrological monitoring of the water levels of the Semois, Lesse, and Ourthe rivers
• Information about the Camping au Petit Ben-Gneur
• Guides on Ardennes specialties, iconic villages, and landmarks

4 Booking Conditions

4.1 Procedures

• All bookings are personal and non-transferable without prior agreement.
• The booking is only final after written confirmation from us (email or SMS).
• We reserve the right to refuse any booking in case of unavailability or dangerous conditions.

4.2 Prices and Payment

• The displayed prices are in euros (€) and include applicable VAT.
• Payment can be made in cash, via Bancontact, bank transfer, or credit card according to the terms specified during booking.
• No banking data is stored on our servers.

4.3 Platform Fees and Deposit

For every booking through our platform, platform fees (commission of 10%) are included in the total price displayed.

• These fees cover digital services: payment security, real-time availability management, customer support, and technical maintenance.
• Payment Terms: The amount corresponding to the platform fees is collected online at the time of booking (deposit). The remaining balance (gross price of the service) must be paid directly to the provider on the day of the activity.

6 Limitation of Liability

6.1 Operator's Liability

• Kayak-semois Ardenne is committed to providing equipment in good working order and high-quality service.
• We hold professional civil liability insurance.
• In the event of cancellation for safety reasons (weather, water level), our liability is limited to a refund or rescheduling.

6.2 Customer's Liability

• Each participant is responsible for their behavior on the river and compliance with safety rules.
• Any damage intentionally caused to the equipment will be billed to the customer.
• Kayaking involves inherent risks that the customer accepts by booking.

6.3 Website Information

Tourist information (schedules, partner rates, water levels) is provided for informational purposes and may evolve. We do not guarantee their real-time accuracy. Always check with official sources before traveling.

7 Intellectual Property

All content on the site (texts, photographs, videos, logos, source code, structured data, diagrams) is the exclusive property of Kayak-semois Ardenne or is subject to a usage license granted to Kayak-semois Ardenne.

• Reproduction is prohibited without prior written authorization, for commercial purposes.
• Inbound links are allowed provided the site is not presented within a frame (iframe) and does not harm the brand's image.
• Journalistic and non-commercial use: Mention the source kayaksemois-ardenne.be with a link.

• Fallback Mechanism: Automatic switch to the RSA 4096-bit standard for universal compatibility without compromising security.
• Data Stream Encryption: All session data is protected by an AES-256-GCM algorithm, ensuring the integrity and opacity of exchanges.
